July TBR, Goals and plans (SDCC) | 2017

I will be reading "It" slower than I thought. Didn't touch it this past month. But it's okay. Will be taking my time with this beast. This month I will be trying to challenge my self in the reading department. I been having a strong urge to read as many things as possible. With already 2 books (one comic trade and one children book) completed this month I am hoping to continue the consistent.

Although it will be a little difficult it towards the end of the month. Since I will be heading to San Diego Comic Con (SO EXCITED!! Been counting down the days). Will be hopefully be posting my plans for the convention on here.

Here are the books I am hoping to finish this month:

Mr. Mercedes (Bill Hodges Trilogy, #1) The Women in the Walls Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) Gwendy's Button Box

The Enchanted

1. Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
2. The Women in the Walls by AMy Lukavics
3. Incarceron by Catherin Fisher
4. Gwendy's Button Box by Stephen King and Richard Chizmar
5. The Enchanted by Denfeld

I think these will be the only ones that I will be selecting. I am hoping to read more.

June TBR and Goals for the Month | 2017

Let's give this ago shall we. Been wanting to start up my blog again for a while. But I kept pushing it back for some unknown reason. So I am finally here (again) hoping to be more consistent here and what other way to start up again with a TBR. So here is my TBR for the month of June 2017.

Giving my self a low goal of 4 books. Hoping to at least finish one a month. I may read more but my goal is to read these books at least. I thing it's manageable.

The Drawing of the Three Finding Mr. Brightside Chasing Cars and the Lessons We Learned: A Paper Planes Standalone Romance Nailbiter, Vol. 6: The Bloody Truth
1. The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King
2. Finding Mr. Brightside by Jay Clark
3. Chasing Cars and Lessons We Learned by Mindy Hayes and Michele G. Miller
4. Nailbiter Vol. 6 by Joshua Williamson

Other than these books I am hoping to continue my re-read of It by Stephen King. Would like to finish this beast before the movie is release. It was something that I wanted to do for The Dark Tower series, but I don't think it would be something possible. With my on and of reading.

Along with reading I would like watch a few films. Been obsessing with spreadsheets and made a huge list of films, shows, and podcast I would like to tackle. So much goals but I am just taking it one step at a time.

October TBR | 2016

It's hard to actually set up a TBR. I usually pick up what ever I am in the mood to read when I finish a book. However, this months goal is to try and read as many of my single issues comics as I can. As you seen in the image below they are a lot. I have let them piled up this year. Let's see how it goes.

(Yeah it's A LOT of them. Don't know how I let it be this crazy.)

(Hopefully) Other than try to finish up my single issues. I am hoping to at least read two book this month. I would like to finish The Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson and The Rithmatist by Barndon Sanderson. Everything else will be a plus for me.

What are your guys reading goals for this month?

TBR | December 14-20

Last week I was able to complete two of the books in my TBR plus a book that wasn't. I also was able to finish a few comic book series I have been reading. (Last week TBR) Hopefully will read the other of my last weeks TBR sometime this month.

Completed December 7- 13, 2015:

Shadows of Self (Mistborn, #5)The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1) The Girl in 6E (Deanna Madden, #1) Giant Days Vol. 2 We Stand On Guard #1 Groot, Vol. 1 Gwenpool Special (2015) #1

My rating for all of these are located in my goodreads page. I did also read other single issue comics. However they were individual single issue that I still need one or more to complete a volume of the series.

This weeks TBR will hopefully allow me to read more. Since last month I heard Way of Kings. Which was a big book.

Novels:

Wolf in White Van The Shining Girls

Comic Books/Graphic Novels:

It's still my plan to read these. Would like to finish them before the year is over. May read other comics during the week. Since my goal is to finish reading all my single issues by the end of the year.

Y: The Last Man, Vol. 9: Motherland (Y: The Last Man, #9) Y: The Last Man, Vol. 10: Whys and Wherefores (Y: The Last Man, #10) 17662660

What are you guys reading?

TBR | Week of August 24-30

These are the books I will hopefully be reading this week.

Animal Farm / 19841984 is my pick for this weeks classic for #linseyalong , I love the idea of this. Because we get to choose the book we only have a goal to read a certain theme during the week. This is a book I have had in my shelf for a couple of years now and wish to finish it soon.

Alcatraz Omnibus (Alcatraz #1-4)I hope that I can tackle some of Alcatraz by Brandon Sanderson. I don't think I will complete this book this week. I would just like to read as much as I can. I would like to take my time reading this book. I am currently really enjoying it. Maybe I will be able to finish one or two books in Omnibus since it consist of four books.
I am hoping to get through the rest of The Maze Runner series by James Dashner before the second movie in the series is release. I am hoping to tackle some of it this week. I am not sure if I will be able to finish these books apart from the other books that I hope to read. But if I am not able to read them I will be trying to read them next week also.

Y: The Last Man, Vol. 6: Girl on Girl (Y: The Last Man, #6)Lastly, I am hoping to try and finish all the volumes I have of Y the last Man by Brian K Vaughan. I am currently in volume 6 and own up to volume 8. Hoping to finish these 3 that way I will be able to get the last 2 volumes. I love this series. It's so good. If you haven't read it yet I highly recommend it. However, it does contain some themes that aren't suitable for everyone.

Apart from these books I may try to tackle some single issue comic books. Other that that. These are my reading goals this week. What are your guys reading goals this week? :D  Happy Reading!!

October TBR | 2014

I think I did pretty good in the month of September. I feel I did way better than the month before, that is for sure. This month I decided to only chose 4 books and one comic paperback bind-up/graphic novel. That way if I feel like reading another books I won't be so restrain to read certain books.

*I have decided to read one Stephen King book and one Brandon Sanderson book every month.

Books:
1. The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson
2. The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey (pick from my TBR jar)
3. It by Stephen King
4. All the Light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr

Comic paperback bind-up:
1. Y: Last Man Vol. 3

Most likely I will be finishing up The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan also. I just didn't wanted added as a for sure thing.

My September-Wrap up will come on Oct. 1.
